The plight of the urban Black youth is never ending. Institutionalized racism has robbed many urban communities of families, jobs, education, healthcare and a sense of self worth and value like no other. The victim becomes the crime. Once we value life itself, I’m hoping foundationally this will all change for the betterment of humankind as a whole. A young Black boy wants to live and grow up to experience his aspirations in life just like anyone else.
